READING BREAK IS ONLY A WEEK AWAY

Today has been a very slack day so far. I didn't get out of bed until sometime after 11, then a few games of Spider Solitaire, some breakfast and a couple episodes of Married With Children later and I finally got out the door.

I'm currently at Jenny's place killing time before we're off to find myself a pair of glasses. I like the idea of having a girl with me to help me find a real hot pair. I don't plan to spend too much since I'll be wearing them primarly for driving.

My intramural soccer team (now 4-3) is back at action again this evening. I hope we can improve on our 1-1 effort last week and go 2-0 tonight. We did improve last week from the week before so we should be good to go tonight.

On Friday night I went to a techno dance at the courthouse downtown organized by Tourism students. I had a pretty good time, although I'm not the biggest fan of techno. The atmosphere was good, and drinks were only $3 which was a bonus.

Tomorrow is Valentines Day, which I plan to spend doing homework and catching up a bit before entering the final stretch before Reading Break, which begins this coming weekend. I'm planning a trip to Panorama with Dani for Reading Break, and then I hope to spend the rest of it catching up on schoolwork and getting a few shifts in at Athletes World.

I have a date tonight anyways, so I figure a night off Valentines Day isn't a big deal. It's not like I'm committed to anybody right now anyways. I also don't see Valentines Day as really anything mroe than a reason to be romantic with your mate. But you can do that any night right?

Some of my plans for the upcoming days:
- complete some school assignments due this week, which include a book review for my Sociology 361 (Social Inequality) class, a resume/cover letter package for Journalism 350 (News and Media Business) and a self-anaylsis paper for Journalism 459 (Outlaw Journalism).
- make my trip to Panorama Ski Resort official.
- get myself a ticket for when the Prince George Cougars are in town.
- go snowboarding at Sun Peaks.
- complete my feature story on the men's volleyball team for the Omega.
- finish fixing up the look of my blog, which includes more pictures and links.
